I understand the purpose of the non-Walter chapters as they speak to purpose 2 of this book, but it was disjointed and I think took away from the punch of Walter’s story. However, I wasn’t a big fan of the formatting of this book and the way they inserted somewhat unrelated chapters and split up Walter’s story. ![]() ![]() To the purpose of sharing Walter’s story, Stevenson did a fantastic job of drawing the reader in-we feel Walter’s pain and have an almost visceral reaction to the gross injustice blatantly conducted on his case.
